BCH Lions FC advances to Major League

The First League of the Mongolian Football Federation concluded last week after being allowed to start after a long postponeme­nt from its planned date in July due to COVID19. The league’s new champions are BCH Lions FC, led by B.MunkhErden­e, and officially obtains the right to play in the Major League from next season.

Khoromkhon FC became runner up while Khovd FC ended up in third place. The First League included 286 players from 10 teams and B.MunkhErden­e from BCH Lions becomes Best Striker of the Year. B.Ariunbold and T.Urnukhbaya­r from Tuv Buganuud FC won Best Defender awards, while B.Munkhbold was named as Best Goalkeeper. The Mongolian Football Federation awarded referees E.Galbadrakh and B.Logishir for their effort.

Runner up Khoromkhon FC will play against Ulaanbaata­r Mazaalainu­ud FC, which had the worst record of the season in the Major League, for a spot in the top league.
