Eight response teams from more than 60 points, including supermarkets, households, and universities, carried out disinfection of more than 30,000 hectares to prevent the spread of infection, following the route of approved and suspected cases.

Disinfection was carried out in the 3rd building of Enkhsaran Sanatorium, where infection occurred. It is very important to stop the transmission of any infection.

Trained teams are working in health facilities. They also provide professional and methodological advice on infection control regimes at 18 points. Currently, there are 96 doctors and 285 resident doctors working 24 hours a day.

In addition, people wear masks, but they often wear them incorrectly. Make sure to wear the mask properly, change your outerwear at home, and wash your hands often.

Head of Surveillance and Research Department of the National Center for Communicable Disease A.Ambaselmaa:

Three people from the same family were infected in Selenge Province. All three came to the National Center for Communicable Disease and were isolated. Then another person became infected with the coronavirus in the province.

Currently, samples are being collected in Selenge Province for those who had close and secondary contacts. Of these, 19 people tested positive for the rapid test.

However, we must verify the positive results of the rapid test by PCR. In previous confirmed cases, we isolated close contacts. In other words, those who tested positive for the rapid test had close contact and were isolated.

Rapid testing is important. The rapid test is not performed at the same time as PCR on samples from about 6,000 people in any country. The rapid test is used on those who have had close or secondary contact, with a focus on those who have tested positive, and PCR testing will continue.

Those who test negative are also confirmed by PCR. In any case, it will be reported after the diagnosis is confirmed.

Deputy Head of the National Emergency Management Agency G.Ariunbuyan:

Four cases were reported in Selenge Province. Province center and Sukhbaatar soum and Altanbulag soum residents are being tested as a matter of priority.

In addition, the police and emergency services have decided to increase their efforts. Two mobile laboratories were set up by health organizations. The hospital in Sukhbaatar soum will be relocated to a special facility.

One case of COVID-19 was reported in Darkhan-Uul Province. The number of vehicles involved in traffic in Ulaanbaatar has increased. Therefore, citizens do not want to leave their homes during lockdown. The health organization is organizing voluntary tests at 11 points in the capital. About 3,800 foreigners want to return home. Some are compiling reports of traffic congestion.
