The process of transporting rural citizens from the capital to the homes has started on December 1.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Ya.Amarjargal provided information on the procedure. She reported that on December 1, a total of 2,531 people were transported from Ulaanbaatar to rural areas on 74 buses via 14 routes. A total of 204 passengers were transported to the capital on seven buses. A total of 88 buses transported 2,735 people between cities. In addition, 301 private vehicles transported 921 passengers from Ulaanbaatar to the provinces.

In Ulaanbaatar, more than 300 medical workers have begun collecting PCR test samples at 20 locations to return local residents. In addition to doctors, more than 700 police and emergency workers are involved in the operation.

As part of this activity, a total of 27,228 people were tested at the Virology Laboratory of the National Center for Communicable Disease. As of December 2, no infection was detected in the people who were tested, so they were allowed to travel back home.

“There are some difficulties in organizing this activity. For example, 116,000 people applied to the registration website 119.mn for test results. Due to this, the site has been temporarily closed for editing since yesterday. Software and technical issues are handled by technical companies. The company told the Ministry of Health that it would apologize to citizens and the many government officials involved in the operation for their mistakes,” Ya.Amarjargal highlighted.

“Since the website is down, we have decided to send test results to citizens' mobile phones. Citizens will be able to log in to the bureaus after checking and verifying the negative test results and their ID cards. Let me remind that those who travel between cities and return home must isolate themselves for 14 days. "
