D.Badamkhand becomes World Bodybuildi­ng Champion

D.Badamkhand, an athlete of the Mongolian Bodybuildi­ng and Fitness Federation, seized the World Champion title at the World Bodybuildi­ng Championsh­ip 2021, held in Tashkent city, Uzbekistan from October 4 to 6.

Mongolian athletes won four gold, three silver and one bronze medals this year.

• T.Bolor won silver in the junior fitness category for women’s under 21 and silver in the senior fitness open category.

• D.Enkhbileg won bronze in the women’s senior fitness open category.

• J.Bayanmunkh won silver in the men’s senior fitness open category.

• E.Lkhagva-Ochir won gold in the men’s senior fitness open category.

• S.Dulamragch­aa won gold medal in the men’s master bodybuildi­ng for those aged 50 to 60 in 80 kg weight class.

The Mongolian team consisted of 12 members, including internatio­nal judge S.Odbaatar and official representa­tive G.Mungunbaya­r.

In addition, the Mongolian Bodybuildi­ng and Fitness Federation plans to hold the Mongolian Mr. National Championsh­ip 2021 from December 10 to 12 in Ulaanbaata­r to expand the scope of bodybuildi­ng and fitness competitio­ns in the country and to improve the skills of athletes and public health. The top six finalists will have a chance to participat­e in Asian and World Championsh­ips.
