D.Badamkhand becomes World Bodybuilding Champion
D.Badamkhand, an athlete of the Mongolian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, seized the World Champion title at the World Bodybuilding Championship 2021, held in Tashkent city, Uzbekistan from October 4 to 6.
Mongolian athletes won four gold, three silver and one bronze medals this year.
• T.Bolor won silver in the junior fitness category for women’s under 21 and silver in the senior fitness open category.
• D.Enkhbileg won bronze in the women’s senior fitness open category.
• J.Bayanmunkh won silver in the men’s senior fitness open category.
• E.Lkhagva-Ochir won gold in the men’s senior fitness open category.
• S.Dulamragchaa won gold medal in the men’s master bodybuilding for those aged 50 to 60 in 80 kg weight class.
The Mongolian team consisted of 12 members, including international judge S.Odbaatar and official representative G.Mungunbayar.
In addition, the Mongolian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation plans to hold the Mongolian Mr. National Championship 2021 from December 10 to 12 in Ulaanbaatar to expand the scope of bodybuilding and fitness competitions in the country and to improve the skills of athletes and public health. The top six finalists will have a chance to participate in Asian and World Championships.
