BContemporary Art Gallery is showcasing “100 Days, 100 Artists”, a videography and photography exhibition by artist J.Munkhjargal.

The “100 Days, 100 Artists” project aims to share the lifestyles of artists and the process of creating art through photography. It has displayed an exhibition of documentary photography and media works that tell the story of more than 100 artists.

Photographer J.Munkhjargal is offering visibility for generations of artists in an interesting way, highlighting their unique features. Most of the works in this exhibition are black and white photographs, which can spotlight the inner nature and expression of each artist.

His documentary photography project was awarded the “Gerelt Mori” scholarship program, which is annually announced by the Arts Council of Mongolia (ACM) in partnership with ACM in the USA in memory of the late Peter Morrow, former CEO of Khan Bank and former ACM vice president. The program aims to support professional artists and increase the competitiveness of the industry.

Whatever remains in the mind of viewers after they visit the “100 Days, 100 Artists” exhibition, it is worth noting that Mongolian artists are astonishing in their own way, producing unique and masterful artworks often influenced by their surrounding and feelings.

You can get acquainted with the world of artists through J.Munkhjargal’s lens at the B Contemporary Art Gallery and Red Ger Creative Space, located at the building of the Union of Mongolian Artists, before the exhibition wraps up on November 24.
