Interparliamentary cooperation expansion discussed with Mexico
Last week, members of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of Mongolia and Mexico held a virtual meeting to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
During the meeting, Chairman of the Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group T.Dorjkhand noted that the diplomatic relations between the two countries have been actively developed and certain progress has been made in the fields of education, culture, art, sports, sports and disaster risk reduction, before stressing the importance of further expanding economic and interparliamentary cooperation.
Expressing his willingness to deepen cooperation with the Mongolian Parliament, Chairman of the Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group in the General Congress Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno suggested exchanging mutual experience and information in the field of legislation, as well as developing cooperation in trade, economy and culture between the two countries.
Mongolian Ambassador to Mexico U.Batbayar underscored that this year marks the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Mexico and said that he would make efforts to deepen the development of bilateral relations and cooperation, including the expansion of cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, agriculture, tourism, culture and education.
The ambassador also emphasized that he would provide all-round support to expand and intensify the cooperation between the legislatures of the two countries and increase the frequency of reciprocal visits between the speakers and lawmakers.
The Mexican side highlighted that the Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group has been newly established in the General Congress of Mexico to deepen bilateral relations.
