Myan­mar's North­ern Al­liance Eth­nic Forces, com­pris­ing three eth­nic armed groups, on Wed­nes­day voiced sup­port for the govern­ment's ef­forts for na­tional rec­on­cil­i­a­tion and na­tion­wide peace, ac­cord­ing to a joint state­ment of the forces, Xin­hua re­ported. The three forces mem­bers are Myan­mar Na­tional Demo­cratic Al­liance Army (MNDAA), Ta'ang Na­tional Lib­er­a­tion Army (TNLA) and Arakan Army (AA). They ex­pressed their de­sire to join hands with govern­ment forces to set­tle mil­i­tary dis­putes and po­lit­i­cal mat­ters through di­a­logue. En­cour­aged by the it ne­go­ti­at­ing body, the Fed­eral Po­lit­i­cal Ne­go­ti­a­tion and Con­sul­ta­tive Com­mit­tee (FPNCC), a meet­ing with the govern­ment's Peace Com­mis­sion is be­ing ar­ranged, ac­cord­ing to the joint state­ment.
