Pride of Myanmar Awards 2018

The Myanmar Times - Weekend - - Business -

THE Pride of Myanmar awards has been conceived by a group of like-minded people who believe that there are stars in Myanmar in fields including but not limited to the entertainment industry who need to be recognised on a national platform. So the team created an awards platform that discovers, recognises and promotes these budding and thriving talents who have not just made their mark nationally but on a global platform as well.

This platform was christened the Pride of Myanmar Awards, and is born with a vision to create a movement that informs & recognizes achievements in Myanmar and sustain the spirit of achievement by energising society. The Pride of Myanmar Awards began recognising excellence in various key fields last month. Winners will be awarded at a glittering evening gala early this year.

As a country known as the “Golden Land” it only makes sense to recognise these new age Burmese men and women who are literally achieving the gold standard of excellence globally. By recognising these talents, we are not only honouring their achievements but also inspiring people to pursue their passions in this day and age where society can easily dictate to us what to do in life

Spearheaded by Pastel Communications and sponsored by Grand Royal Special Reserve, these awards have been designed for transparency and unbiased voting. With a stalwart board of governors helmed by Daw Swe Zin Htike and a jury of peers from the respective categories this award promises to be the next big thing.

The public can vote online at www.prideofmyanmarawards. up to January 25.
