Shan and Yangon overcome their rivals
FTER two months break due to Asian Games, the domestic league re-commenced its matches on September 14 and top rivals Yangon United and Shan United defeated their opponents respectively.
The Lions took three points after beating Myawady 4-1 at their home Y.U.S.C stadium on Friday with the hat-trick goals of Sylla.
Guinean striker Sylla Sekou opened a leading goal for the Yangon United in the first minute against Myawady. And then the second goal scored by Sylla again in 4th minute and 73rd minute. After this victory, Yangon United continues to lead the table of the Myanmar National League 2018.
Meanwhile, their close rival Shan United also secured the victory after beating Rakhine United 2-0 on Friday at Thuwana stadium.

The other match on Friday between Yadanarbon and Hantharwady United ended in a 2-2 draw at Grand Royal stadium, Bago.
