BMW recalls thousands of cars
BMW recalled thousands of vehicles due to possibly faulty airbags, including their new 7 Series for a potential fault in the SRS control unit. Following other makes, BMW recalled about 840,000 cars in the U.S.A. from the 20072015 model years to replace their Takata airbag inflators. Other issues befell the X3 and X4 ISOFIX child seats, as well as the front driveshafts in the X5 and X6 resulting in over 200,000 U.S. recalls.
