Ndafoluma sends Ukelo to the cleaners
…as Jarman dismantles Kashela
It took five rounds for local veteran fighter Lukas “The Demolisher” Ndafoluma to completely dismantle opponent Christian Ukelo, winning his first fight for this year through a technical knockout on Saturday at the Roman Catholic Hall in the capital.
Ndafoluma, who faced Ukelo in the main bout of the “Back to Action” Boxing Bonanza hosted by Salute Boxing Academy, once again proved his experience and agility as he kept Ukelo on the back foot for the onset.
Ukelo was clearly a no match for the powerful and towering Ndafoluma, whose powerful jabs and body shots had Ukelo on the run. Ndafoluma started growing in confidence between the second and fourth rounds, closing in with great combinations and displaying superb footwork as he continued marching to victory.
It was in the five round that Ndafoluma stopped a worn-out Ukelo, taking to the ropes with a great combination before sending him to the canvas with a painful accurate right hand. Ukelo failed to recover from the onslaught and saw Ndafoluma scoring a technical knockout victory.
In the main supporting bout, Anthony Jarman defeated Daniel “Open Fire” Kashela via third round technical knockout, while NathanielKakololooverpowered a stubborn Johannes Niinkoti to score a unanimous decision over the Niinkoti.
Meanwhile, Bernard Bernard defeated Nestor Amukoto and Sirongo Kasera secured a win over Walter Mukoroli. Immanuel Joseph beat Ruben Kandimba and Gabriel Jamba defeated Teofilus Nashilongo, while Festus Hango lost to Frederick Nghutenanye and Shifiona Tomas defeated Desdelius Ambunda.
