Meanwhile, in Oshana, a 26-yearold man was assaulted and robbed off his vehicle on Wednesday near the Ondangwa open market.

According to the police spokesperson for the region, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, the complainant first had an encounter with the six boys when he stopped to ask them what they were doing on the road.

According to Aiyambo, three of the boys were standing in the road while the other three were standing along the road.

“The driver then brought the car to a halt and asked the boys why they were standing in the road. One of the boys allegedly removed a USB from his car,” said Aiyambo.

The driver allegedly got off the road to demand for his USB and the boys in return assaulted him.

“The boys started kicking, beating and punching him and in the process stabbed him with a knife in the back,” said Aiyambo. They allegedly continued to search him and stole an amount of N$450. When the man regained consciousness, the car was stolen.

The car is a blue Toyota corolla with registration N 19065 ND.

No arrest has been made and nothing has been recovered yet.
