Man of the cloth meets his Maker RIP – Rev Seth Leonard Kaimu 1940 - 2021
Starlile’s second generation. Upon retirement from competitive football in the early 70’s, the always immaculately dressed ‘footie’ bravely exchanged his football togs for the Bible, vigorously spreading the word of God.

Primary School (St Barnabas) and the Immanuel Shifidi Secondary School in Katutura, Eliah Kayamo, showered the departed man of the cloth with a touching message of condolence.
“As young teachers at the time, the late Pastor Kaimu helped us greatly to grow in our chosen careers despite the many challenges we faced. A community leader in his own space, the deceased played a major role to uplift awareness in the area of religious studies and moral behaviour. It’s against this background that I would like to register my undivided sympathy and solidarity towards his dear widow madam Noni, children, church followers, and to my dear sister Otilie Kavejandja. As a noted patriot during the struggle for democracy in his area of specialization, he played a critical role alongside the late Floyd Kamaarijanda Maharero, his neighbour Usiel Tjijenda and many others. Pastor Kaimu completed his historical mission as entrusted to him by the Namibian historical realities ... Let his kind soul Rest in Eternal Peace.”
