Black Africa seeking redemption as NPFL continues

After dropping all six points during last weekend’s opening round of the newly established Namibia Premier Football League (NPFL), Black Africa veteran gaffer Brian Isaacs and his charges are on a mission to redeem themselves this weekend when they confront Tura Magic.

BA, as Black Africa is affectionately known, will tomorrow square off against a motivated Tura Magic side at the Sam Nujoma stadium, in what is anticipated to be an all-out clash between the two Katutura outfits.

Last weekend, BA kicked off their NPFL transitional league campaign on a poor note when they lost both matches against Young African (0-1) and Mighty Gunners (1-2) on Saturday and Sunday, while Tura Magic, on the other hand, started off in lukewarm fashion as they managed to secure a 1-0 win against Gunners and drew 1-1 against Tigers.

Outlining his plans for tomorrow’s assignment against the Magicians, as Tura Magic is also known, Isaacs said they are on a mission to redeem themselves and restore a measure of pride, saying that mission starts tomorrow against Tura Magic.

“We are looking forward to the game against a good Tura

Magic team, they are in good shape, and so I think this will be a good game. We are desperate to get maximum points and we will be playing with caution and explore more opportunities in that encounter. We had a full week to prepare for this encounter and I can say we are ready for Saturday; it’s a crucial game for all of us and the plan is to take maximum points,” said Isaacs.
