Maoist Centre writes Parliament Secretariat to suspend four of its MPs
The Maoist-Centre has finally decided to take action against four of its parliamentarians who joined the CPN-UM and are also serving ministers in the cabinet led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. A statement issued by CPN (MC) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ stated that four of its members of the House of Representatives, who were recently nominated to CPNUML central committee, have been expelled from the party membership.
The Maoist Centre registered a letter at the Federal Parliament Secretariat on Tuesday, seeking action against the four.
A letter signed by the party chairman and Parliamentary Party (PP) leader of CPN (MC) Prachanda was submitted to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Secretariat of the Federal Parliament informed.
Prachanda informed the Secretariat that the PP had taken action against Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Minister for Urban Development Prabhu Sah,
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta and Minister for Labour Gauri Shankar Chaudhary.
The party has asked the Parliament Secretariat to suspend the lawmakers’ positions.
Minister Rayamajhi was elected to the Federal Parliament from Arghakhachi-1, Bhatta from Kailali-4, Chaudhary from Kailali-3 and Sah from Rautahat-3 in the ticket of the CPN (MC).
