We must suspend present anti-Nepal political system: Bharat Dahal

-

Bharat Dahal is the chairman of the newly launched Trimool Nepal Party. He is known as a political analyst who has an in-depth study of international political developments including communism and the Nepali communist movements. Dahal himself is a former Maoist leader. Later, after a difference with Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda, he quit the party and launched different patriotic movements. Dahal believes that presently Nepal is facing a serious crisis due to the Indo-West strategy. Excerpts of an interview to Dahal by People’s Review weekly as given below:

Q. You have been saying that the present odd political scenario is the result of different international forces’ strategic interests here. What does it mean?

A. The global power balance is passing through an extreme polarization between the East and the West. This is the polarization developed between China and America. The global power balance under the USA is gradually shifting towards China. There is the possibility of multipolar polarization of power balance from a unipolar mechanism. The present polarization process is based on the tri-dimensional nature of economic, political and civilization.

The non-western force has strongly emerged in the economic sector. Along with the economic development in the East, the political strength is also gradually shifting towards the East. Given the present economic and political scenario, western civilization is becoming weak.

The West, which is gradually losing its dominance on the global economy, politics and civilization, has felt that it cannot secure its dominance through a peaceful means. Therefore, the West has taken the strategy of supporting the free-Tibet groups with the strategy of empowering them for being capable to initiate a battle against mainland China from the Nepali soil. This is the main crisis of Nepal. India is also aligned with the West in this mission. Q. If the West is initiating an anti-China movement from Nepal, is there any involvement of Nepal’s domestic forces?

A. I am confident that all the political parties have been used in any of the forms in this conspiracy against China. The government organs have also been partially or fully used against China.

Privatization of the Nepali economy, the Dasdhunga murder case, Maoist “people’s war”, the Royal Palace massacre and the 12-point agreement inked in Delhi in 2005 are the strategies targeted against China.

In the process of developing a West friendly environment all these episodes had taken place, as a result, Nepal is facing a serious political crisis today. The IndoWestern mission is to declare Nepal a failed nation or separate the nation based on communalism and create an environment for deployment of the Indo-Western military. Q. Do you believe that the Indo-West design of separating Tibet from China will become successful?

A. You can see the present efforts to encircle China. The so-called allegations against China related to Xinjiang, Afghanistan, India, South China Sea, North Korea, Taiwan are aimed at encircling China. The Western strategy is to encircle China from all corners and keep her engaged in different domestic and regional issues for creating hurdles in her development efforts. Particularly in Nepal’s case, the Indo-West strategy is a little different. Thousands of the Dalai Lama trained Tibetans are sheltered in Nepal disguised as refugees. Nepal is the only country in the globe from where it is easy to enter Tibet. Nepal is also a country surviving under Indian domination. By taking benefit of the situation, the West has used India to fulfil its strategies. I have wished to say it an IndoWest design as the strategy has been developed on the base of India.

Not odd, the Dalai Lama is the puppet of India and the West, therefore, they have found Nepali geopolitics favourable for them. Efforts are on to introduce the MCC compact. The terms and condition described in the MCC agreement have aimed to transform Nepal into an American colony.

However, the plan of the

West to play inside Tibet by using Nepali soil will never be fulfilled as the Nepali population is against such a design. Q. How can the geopolitical crisis in Nepal be linked with China?

A. Visibly, the Western strategy is centralized against China as China is the country leading the new world. The shifting process of global polarization and the Sino-Russian alliance against the West are the present realities. In this regard, the Western strategy is not only targeted against China but also the non-western world. We have been experiencing military and economic dominance created by the West. The other strategy of the West, which, the general public is unable to understand is the destruction of the Asian civilization, is more serious and dangerous. I want to give two examples. When the process of dissolution of the USSR started through the infiltration of the Westerners, the Americans used Francis Fukuyama to write “The End of History” explaining that there is no alternative to the American market economy by developing the psychology that America was emerging as a sole power in the globe. Then, to control the helpless third world in absence of the USSR, the Americans brought forth Samuel Huntington to write a forecast that the new struggle will be for the conflict of civilization. The plan behind such a forecast was to launch an attack on anti-Christian

civilization and then they started the attack on West Asia. The Western strategy is to separate different nonChristian civilizations and launch a war against them in Asia. Attack on Afghanistan is just an example. After control over Afghanistan, they have been launching attacks on the West Asian countries by separating them from Asia along with cruelly destroying the Muslim civilization. After the destruction of the Muslim civilization, the Buddhist civilization in North Asia and the Vedic civilization in South Asia will be targeted. The West has launched the campaign of Christianization process in the Himalayan range to separate the two civilizations in North Asia and South Asia geographically and launch a military attack on these regions. It is clear that after accomplishing the Christianization process in the Himalayan range, China and India will be the next military target of the West. Q. As per your claim, Nepal is facing a dangerous geopolitical crisis. Do you have any prescription to rescue this country?

A. We have to identify the real problem to overcome the crisis. The present situation in the country is not a general problem of politics and economy but it is a serious national crisis. First of all, there is the question of safeguarding national sovereignty, independence, and indivisibility.

Secondly, the question is related to strengthening nationalism by strengthening economic, political, social, cultural, moral and psychological sectors. For this, we have to adopt the principle of self-reliance and total transformation through peaceful means.

We are engaged in an illdesign of the Western philosophy, thoughts, assumptions, the state mechanism, and lifestyle. Whatever we have today, they all are imported. We have to quit all the Western values, assumptions and principles immediately.

Our newly established political party, Trimool Nepal, therefore, first of all, wants an end of the Sugauli Treaty one-sidedly imposed by the British. This is the condition for Nepal’s sovereignty. Secondly, we want to dismantle the Westerners imposed thoughts, ideologies, values, state mechanism and lifestyle by reintroducing

our fundamental eastern system based on our morals and values. Thirdly, we plan to launch a nationwide movement with the theme, “Nation First”. We should find the solution to the present crisis by destroying western values and culture.

Q. You are talking about a long-term strategy. Presently, the country is ruined by different problems. We see an endless struggle for power, anarchism and fluid political scenario. Don’t you have any solution against these anomalies?

A. I talked about a lasting solution to the present crisis. For the immediate solution to the ongoing crisis, first of all, we have to suspend the present anti-Nepal political system based on the 12-point agreement. We have two choices – whether to select the political parties who had inked the 12-point agreement or the nation? A greater front of those forces who are against the 12-point agreement should be developed. We all know that the 12-point agreement was drafted as per the plan of the foreigners and inked on foreign soil. The 12-point agreement is an Indo-Western design developed to separate Tibet from China by using Nepali soil. The strategy has been developed mainly focusing on Indian concerns such as republicanism and the citizenship issue. Accordingly, federalism and secularism are the concerns of the westerns. The IndoWestern strategy is based on the above mention four concerns of India and the West.

The Indian concerns are related to Nepal’s existence, whereas, the Western concerns are related to the Christianization of Nepal. The Westerners plan to split Nepal by recognizing her as a multi-national nation. These are the talks based on policy. We need the power to materialize our thinking. I believe, until now, the institution of monarchy is still a power centre. To fight against organised anti-national design, the monarchy should move forward with greater will power. Now, restoration of the institution of monarchy has become obvious. If we fail to understand the seriousness of the situation by following the slogan of foreigners coined “offensive move”, perhaps, we will become refugee under the foreigners on our own soil.
