Cabinet decides to recall ambassadors appointed by erstwhile government
Kathmandu, 21 September: The government has decided to recall ambassadors appointed under political quota by the erstwhile government. A cabinet meeting this afternoon made a decision to this effect, according to Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki. “It has been decided to recall all the politically appointed ambassadors,” he informed the media after the meeting.
Nilamber Acharya, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey Yuba Raj Khatiwada , Prativa Rana, Narad Bhardwaj, Anjan Shakya, Bhim Udas, Dawa Phuti Sherpa, Sharmila Parajuli, Uday Raj Pandey , Lok Darshan Regmi, Banshidhar Mishara are serving as ambassadors in India, China the US, Japan, Qatar, Israel, Myanmar, Spain, Oman, Malaysia, the UK, and Bangladesh respectively.
