Global Bank to extend concessional loan to returnee migrants
Kathmandu, 18 September: Global IME Bank Limited and Nepal Institute for Development Studies(NIDS) have signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) to provide concessional loans and financial literacy and entrepreneurship training to the individuals of target community and areas. As per the MoU, signed on Friday, GIBL will provide concessional loan to returnee migrant workers, families dependent on migrant workers, youth rescued from human trafficking and other relevant persons on the recommendation of the NIDS.
Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ratna Raj Bajracharya and Executive Director of the NIDS Chiranjivi Baral have signed the MoU.
