I am glad the President has returned the Citizenship Bill to the parliament with clarifications on issues which have long-term detrimental consequences on Nepal’s sovereignty, independence and integrity. Anyway, decisions with such implications and importance should not be rushed without elaborate discussions and especially when the elections have been already announced.

Why is there no enthusiasm and interest in the people despite the announcement of elections? While in big corruption, there is unity, agreement and action in the leadership of all the parties. Moreover, in the case of Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma of the coalition government, it has been clearly shown how the corrupt government can suppress the truth and how it uses all the organs and bodies of the state to hide the crime. How can you vote for them? If not them, whom to vote for? It is today's burning question.
