Owaisi's intervention adds another dimension to the diverse array of voices engaged in the legal scrutiny of the contentious legislation.

The Supreme Court of India issued a notice last week seeking a stay of implementation of the CAA and the Rules that came into force on March 11, 2024.

Delhi’s vengeance begins: In what could be taken as an act of vengeance, the Indian regime

The news is that Indian authorities are revoking visa privileges to overseas critics of (OCI) origin who have spoken out against the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) led government’s policiesHuman Rights Watch said March 18, 2024 (The Wire). Indian government’s reprisals against members of the diaspora who criticize the BJP’s abusive and discriminatory policies show the authorities growing hostility to criticism and dialogue, says Elaine Pearson-–the Asia Director at Human Rights Watch. The Amnesty International and UNHCR reaction:

The AI says March 14, 2024, “The operationalization

of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 is a blow to the Indian constitutional values of equality and religious non-discrimination and inconsistent and incompatible with India's international human rights obligations, said Amnesty International today”.

The official added that his office, the AI, was studying whether the implementation of the law complies with international human rights law.

The Reuters /WIRE dated March 14, 2024, quoting the UNHCR terms the new Indian citizenship act as “fundamentally discriminatory.

This was stated by a spokesperson of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights told Reuters, “As we said in 2019, we are concerned that CAA is fundamentally discriminatory in nature and breach of India’s international human rights obligations.”

Narendra Modi often attends mass gatherings of diaspora party supporters in the United States, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere to celebrate Indian democracy, while his government back home has targeted people it claims are “tarnishing the image” of the country. “Indian government reprisals against members of the diaspora who criticize the BJP’s abusive and discriminatory policies show the authorities’ growing hostility to criticism and dialogue,” said Elaine Pearson--the Asia director at Human Rights Watch. “The authorities seem intent on expanding politically motivated repression against Indian activists and academics at home to foreign citizens of Indian origin beyond India’s borders, " Pearson added.”

Let’s talk of other South Asian nations:

Nepal: This country only recently greeted His Majesty the Indian King thug Professor S. D. Muni, a political and hollow academic entity, whose entrance in Kathmandu last week at the TIA was no less than that of an undeclared emperor. He was accorded a hand welcome in Kathmandu by the finger-puppets posted by the Indian regime here and there and everywhere. To work for India is taken

as an honorific job. It is more or less like a title.

His Nepali marionettes/ Nepali dogs posted inside the TIA hall were all attentively working to ease the exit of the Indian Professor who is crowned as double RAW agent posted both by the Indira Congress and the BJP. Professor Muni is taken as a spoon/dummy of the late Atal Vajpayee--the charlatan/masked PM of India.

Muni was here to instruct dictates/orations to -the declared Indian hand in Nepal’s academic sector on how to hasten the speed of the Sikkimisation of Nepal into the Indian regime that has ever remained an enemy of sovereign and independent Nepal. A photo of some academicians and experts was found in the social media which allowed the common men to recognize the Indian hands working clandestinely for the benefit of India.

Thanks, Muni, your presence at least allowed us all to recognize the faces which were working for “Mother India” in the dark.

Now Pakistan: After the elections, the immediate rival of India condemning India’s CAA, the Pak Army Chief Asim Munir was received by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently in Jeddah.

During the meeting, media reports have it that the officials of both sides focused on military cooperation between the Kingdom and Pakistan, and addressed other areas of mutual concern, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy cordial relationships and more than 2.5 million Pakistanis who live and work in the kingdom serve as a massive source of remittances for the country. That’s all.
