Bud­dhabir Lama's solo evening

Noted singers sang the songs penned by Bud­dhabir Lama at the "Bud­dhabir Lama solo Evening" at Ras­triya Naachghar in Kath­mandu last week. This is the eighth round of Lama's solo evening. On the same oc­ca­sion, cit­i­zens per­form­ing spe­cial con­tri­bu­tion to the na­tion, so­ci­ety and peo­ple were also fe­lic­i­tated. Lit­er­a­teurs Bha­gawati Das Shrestha and Pra­teek Dhakal, lyri­cists Ish­war Shrestha, Deuda singer Nan­dak­ishor Joshi were dec­o­rated with "Shrasta Sam­man 2075". Ac­cord­ingly, Miss SLC - Ra­jina Lama, chief of the Surya­daya Mu­nic­i­pal­ity, Ilam – Ran­ba­hadur Rai, al­lo­pathic prac­ti­tioner Rakeshku­mar Singh and ed­u­ca­tion­al­ist Ram­chan­dra Ma­hoto were fe­lic­i­tated. Like­wise, Nima Ten­jing Sherpa, Ch­ha­bi­lal Subedi, Shiva Prasad Cha­pa­gain, Re­wati­ra­man Tim­ilsina, Muk­tiprasad Acharya, Muna Sil­wal, Indira Yak­thumba and for­mer na­tional bad­minton player and Nepal Olympic Com­mit­tee chair­man Kishor Ba­hadur Singh were fe­lic­i­tated. For­mer prime min­is­ter Lo­k­endra Ba­hadur Chand had handed over the ap­pre­ci­a­tion let­ters with Dos­alla to the dig­ni­taries. At the same pro­gramme, Lama's new mu­sic al­bum "Aa­mako Maya" was re­leased. The amount col­lected from the solo evening show was do­nated to the Se­nior Cit­i­zen Nurs­ing Care Cen­ter Pharp­ing and Baikun­tha Manand­har Sports Foun­da­tion, Kath­mandu.
