Greater understanding

Thank you for Pam Corkery’s informative story about transgender people in New Zealand. I have to admit that I knew very little about this issue before I read the article, but now I have a much better understanding of what it means to be born in the wrong body. I once had a colleague who was transgender and I feel that if I had been able to read this story at that time, I would have better understood what she was going through.
