In the right manner

Jo Seagar is so right when she says in your July issue that table manners seem to have gone out of the window. A few years ago I helped at school camp and had to teach teens how to use their cutlery. The youngsters felt good about themselves when they could eat with decorum. Manners won’t give us world peace but they make for a more civilised society.

As for cellphones at the table? No chance.
