Zika vaccine hope

There are reports that an experimental vaccine against Zika virus is about to commence clinical trials in North America. If successful, we hope it will soon lead to an effective vaccine against this infection, which the World Health Organization has declared a “global public health emergency”. Currently, the WHO advises pregnant women not to travel to areas where Zika is circulating.
