Good orchard hygiene is the best way to prevent recurring problems with fruit tree pests and diseases. Mulch under trees, rake up fallen leaves and pick up windfall fruit that may be harbouring bugs. Apply a clean-up copper spray and remember to spray the grass under your fruit trees as well.
