“My inspiratio­n started with the English gentry.”

Will’s mother planted the garden, and had a passion for roses. “It’s a rambling country garden,” says Georgie. Inspired by landscaper Paul Bangay’s work, she and Will installed four garden beds. “I wanted some formality in the garden,” says Georgie. “This is a cutting garden, with herbs and flowers.” In the centre is a unique sculpture of a waratah, made from barbed wire, created by a local artist.
