ROAD TO OUTER SPACE

The world has been captivated by the Tesla Roadster of US entrepreneur Elon Musk, which transmitted stunning video and images after it was blasted into space on February 6. Driven, or rather piloted, by a David Bowie-inspired driver named Starman, the rocketpowered car set a course for Mars, then out towards the asteroid belt. The Roadster was playing Bowie’s Space Oddity shortly after its launch and featured a mini-roadster on its dashboard, with a tiny spaceman inside.
