“No phones at the dinner table” is an increasing­ly common family mealtime rule – and new research suggests there’s a mental upshot for minimising your smartphone use at home. A recent University of Zurich study found those who accessed work emails after hours were more prone to exhaustion and more likely to experience a lower sense of wellbeing.
