QIt’s great to make an effort for this or any formal occasion! Expect to spend more than you normally would on clothes, but if you buy a classic style that can be changed out with different accessories, you'll be able to wear it again for other special events. Comfort is important, as a wedding lasts several hours and involves periods of standing around, sitting, and often dancing, so you don’t want anything that is going to feel tight and restricting. A floaty dress is a good option - look for one that flatters your curves without being clingy. The styles and colours can vary greatly, so try on as many as possible (you might like to take a trusted friend for a second opinion). If it makes you smile and feel lovely, you're on the right track! Team it with a nice jacket for warmth, add jewellery, a clutch or small handbag for essentials, and shoes that won't cripple your feet, and you’re good to go! I have been invited to a family wedding but I don’t know what to wear! I don’t own any formal clothes, as I prefer comfortable, casual gear. However, I would like to make an effort for this occasion. What would you recommend?
