“No phones at the din­ner ta­ble” is an in­creas­ingly com­mon fam­ily meal­time rule, and new re­search sug­gests there’s a men­tal up­shot for min­imis­ing your smart­phone use at home. A re­cent Uni­ver­sity of Zurich study found those who ac­cessed work emails af­ter hours were more prone to ex­haus­tion and more likely to ex­pe­ri­ence a lower sense of well­be­ing.
