A rare insight
AN INTIMATE letter written by Jackie Kennedy to husband John F. Kennedy when he was the senator of Massachusetts will be auctioned. The threepage handwritten note gives a glimpse into this famously complicated marriage, with Jackie saying theirs is an atypical love, but “each of us would have been so lonely with the normal kind”. She signs off, “All my love, Jackie.” The undated letter is estimated to have been written in 1957-58.
