Q I am very selfconscious about my stomach area. My daughter tells me I have a good shape but I don’t see it and always find myself reverting to baggy tops so my rolls don’t show. However when I do this I can also feel very dowdy! Could you please advise me on how I can dress to feel comfortable but also to flatter my stomach? Many women feel their tummy is their problem area. Fortunately, there are choices and options that mean you don’t need to hide in baggy tops or clothing. One of the best things to remember is to wear clothes that fit comfortably and aren’t too tight or too baggy. Pants and skirts should have a wide waistband and a high-rise waistline to hold everything in. It helps to cinch in your waistline too. Tops that are hip-length help flatter a tummy area. Tops and dresses with vertical lines and interesting graphics that draw the eye up and down rather than across the body are best. An empire waistline is another flattering style choice. Remember, good quality fabrics and fabrics with some stretch can do wonders. See Ljubenka on Instagram @holdtheglamour.
