Purr-fect health

-

Our feline friends are much better for our health than we may have thought. Aside from being great company and relieving stress, a study has found they are great for heart health. The Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology has reported on a link found between cat ownership and a decreased risk of dying from a heart attack or stroke. Just the sound of a cat’s purr has a calming effect that lowers blood pressure.
