Two new scents play with the form of a traditional bottle in surprising and delightful ways.
1. Carolina Herrera Good Girl 50ml EDP, $168. Not an everyday wear, as you might guess from the stiletto shaped bottle (you pump from the heel), but ideal for a night out, with an intoxicating mix of white florals and warm tonka bean.
2. Lancôme Idôle 50ml EDP, $139. Sparkling and light, with rose, jasmine and a touch of lingering depth. Idôle’s slim-line packaging has been called the “world’s thinnest perfume bottle”. Intended to mimic the feel of a smartphone in your hand, this novel bottle can’t stand upright, so it will need to lie flat on your vanity.
