About the author

Jillian Cantor, 42, grew up in Pennsylvania where, she says, “I was a quiet kid, finding adventure in stories. As I got older, my love of reading fiction turned into a desire to write my own.” To date she has written 10 novels and now lives in Arizona with her husband and two sons. Jillian says Half Life’s Marie and Marya “both have a very intense drive to persevere in spite of all the obstacles they face. I feel a similar drive as a writer continually faced with rejection. I’m always pushing myself to keep going, keep writing.”
