In 2022, I’m most looking forward to…

Well, it’s a tossup. I’m absolutely excited for my new show on Today FM, but I’m secretly just as excited for a new roof. Presently, when it rains, if I’m sitting on the loo, I get a constant drip in the deadcentre of my head. It’s a form of toilet torture.

My favourite thing about summer is…

My garden. I’m no gardener – my darling daddy would be horrified as he was a master gardener – but I love flowers in all kinds of pots. Seeing all the colour makes me blissfully happy.

My top three priorities for the new year are…

My new show (and new roof!), having no expectations apart from being honest and hardworking, and as always, my children.

Life is too short for…

Resentments.

The best item I ever purchased was…

This is a no-brainer – two red Tupperware microwavable jugs 20 years ago. I must have used them every day for 7500 days. They don’t sell them any more, but if you’ve got one and want to get rid of it, I’m your gal.

I would spend my last day on Earth…

Trying to work out a plan not to make it my last day on Earth! If there’s a secret passage, trapdoor or portal, I’ll find it. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

I feel most comfortable when I’m…

With my girl mates, just talking about completely inappropriate things. I’ve worked out that I’ve spent a lot of years being the real me with women and the “who do you want me to be?” woman with men. I’m working on that.

Top of my bucket list is…

A Brazilian butt lift. Sure, it’s shallow, but I have such a flat arse. I’d just love some junk in my trunk!

The greatest joy about what I do is…

Being able to express my thoughts and feelings, and other people’s thoughts and feelings through words. Whether it be writing or speaking with people, I’m bloody lucky to be someone who can articulate honestly and openly. I love it when someone says to me, “That’s exactly what I was thinking, but you put it into words!”

The words I live by are…

“There but for the grace of God go I.” We’re all human. We all have human frailties. I don’t know anyone who plans to screw up. I try my best not to judge people based on a mistake or mishap in life.
