Festival tickets now out

Bay News - - HELLO WORLD -

Bay of Plenty Garden & Art Festival tickets and accompanying directory, lanyard and map have arrived fresh from the printers and are now being distributed.

Ticket buyers can now pick them up and thosewho selected to have their tickets couriered should receive them over the next week or two.

The packs will also include a Bloom in the Bay Programme, outlining all that’s scheduled to happen during the festival dates at the hub, which will be at Tauranga Historic Village.

Festival director Marc Anderson says Bloom in the Bay will be like amini-festival, including various guest speakers, live music, food, a Good George and Mills Reef beer and wine garden, exhibitions, workshops and art, sculpture and flora art displays. There will also be eight concept gardens to view.

“Not everyone opts to go on the garden and art trail and this is a nice way of still having a slice of the festival action. Of course, activities have been timed to also suit those who have been on the trail during the day,” Marc says.

Another recent highlight in the lead-up to the festival was the release of the Long Lunch tickets this month. Maggie Barry will be the guest speaker at theNovember 19 lunch at Mills Reef.
