Roadshow promotes diabetes awareness
Next week is World Diabetes Week and a team is heading out into the community to talk about diabetes. The week comes with the theme “diabetes concerns every family”. The Diabetes Help Tauranga Roadshow is supported by local healthcare professionals, Lions and Lionesses and Toi Ohomai students who will visit local shopping centres and Tauranga Hospital. They will be able to discuss the effects of diabetes on families, both type one and type two. The roadshow will be at Bongards Pharmacy Greerton on November 12, Papamoa Plaza on November 13, Bayfair on November 14, Tauranga Hospital and Fraser Cove on November 15.
