StarJam’s performers ready for show
StarJam Tauranga returns this weekend, giving young people with disabilities the chance to unleash their talents.
Local Starjammers have been practising atweeklyworkshops all year— singing, dancing and drumming— in the lead-up to the inspirational annual showcase.
The idea is to enable young people with disabilities feel empowered, supported and extended where the focus is on what you can achieve, not what you can’t.
StarJam is also held in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Wairarapa and Christchurch. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the StarJam Charitable Trust.
