White crosses for WW1

White crosses honouring the memory of Tauranga soldiers Cecil S Fairs, Moa Wahia and Reginald Watkins will be placed at the city’s waterfront today. The three men were killed during World War I and will join a total of 109 crosses in a Field of Remembrance on The Strand ahead of the 100th Armistice Day anniversary next month.
