School locked down

Police were yesterday looking for two teen girls at the centre of an intruder drama that sparked a short lockdown at Aquinas College. The school went into lockdown for 20 minutes at 9.50am, according to an email principal Matt Dalton sent to parents about 10.30am. No one was injured and the school returned to business as usual after the incident. Students told the Bay of Plenty Times they were told to get under desks and classroom curtains were drawn during the incident.
