Factory fast-tracked

The Waikato District Mayor is excited by the potential a possible foamfactory could bring to Huntly. A foamfactory at Ohinewai is one of three projects the Government has announced will be fast-tracked through the RMA process, under the Covid-19 Recovery Act. The factorywill be the first stage in a $1 billion industrial hub operating alongside a larger Sleepyhead bed factory. Mayor Allan Sanson says it could do a lot for local employment.
