Canterbury cop honoured
Canterbury’s top cop was officially honoured for his work over a decade, that covered unprecedented events which changed the country. Superintendent John Price was named on the New Year’s Honour list, as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit and was presented with his gong yesterday at Government House in Wellington. Price was in charge during both major Christchurch quakes and the 2019 terror attack. He said the honour was for all police in Canterbury.
