New addition strengthens commercial team at Bayleys Tauranga

-

If you follow the theory that two heads are better than one; imagine the success if a third person brings a hat trick into the equation – and a female perspective at that?

The Arundel name is well known in Tauranga circles. Christy Arundel grew up in an environment governed by formidable work ethics. Joining Bayleys commercial division in Tauranga, Christy is now the third string in the newly named Davidson Commercial – alongside Lloyd Davidson and Rory Brown

With a background in the legal profession, Christy switched to commercial real estate four years ago, specialising in the sale and lease of commercial and industrial properties. Her communication skills and eye for detail made an impact straight away. Being focused on solutions and satisfactory outcomes, Christy believes nothing is ever a problem. Hers is a strategic approach – calm, direct and working confidently for her client’s best interest. Her step towards Bayleys was a natural progression.

“It was an easy decision, finding a team of like-minded individuals who share my values and passion,” says Christy.

Lloyd and Rory were already a committed team within Bayleys’ commercial office in Tauranga. A business owner, property investor, landlord and former retailer, Lloyd has an acute understanding of the importance that commercial or industrial property can play in building wealth.

A clear communicator, with a calm manner, Lloyd instils confidence in his clients and has been rewarded by repeat custom and referrals.

Rory has been with Bayleys’ Tauranga commercial team for nearly three years, after a six-year stint in Dubai working for one of the city’s leading real estate companies. With more than 500 agencies in Dubai, it’s highly competitive. Rory’s professional approach ranked him among the most successful consultants within a team of over 60. He was the youngest salesperson promoted into the Dubai agency’s senior management and supervised his own team.

Glad to now call Tauranga home and involved with the community through business and sport, Rory’s partnership with Lloyd rapidly led them to become leaders within Tauranga’s thriving commercial market. With Christy’s addition to the team - specialising in all aspects of business and industrial sales and leasing - Christy’s legal background and expertise offers clients a well-rounded approach.

“As a diverse team of three and many years of combined industry experience, we provide the highest level of service and market knowledge,” says Rory. “We bring strong local and national connections – both professional, family and social networks that have been built up over many years of trusted relationships.”

That perspective not only crosses generations, but introduces the subtle energy of a combined male and female’s analysis.

Approaching the year’s end, with inflation and rising interest rates, 2023 will bring fresh challenges. Rory says 2022 has been busy and successful, with both the sales and leasing market remaining active. Even with a rapidly changing market, he is optimistic about next year and looks forward to clients contacting Davidson Commercial for advice on their requirements – buying, selling or leasing.
