It has been eight years since we began promoting Coppercoat to New Zealanders and with over 500 vessels now coated, there are over 500 strong advocates for our great product. We use the term ‘our’ quite loosely as the Brits have actually done the hard yards developing and producing Coppercoat. It remains exactly the same product that has been for sale since 1993 and is now on the bottom of over 40,000 vessels around the world. Some would say that’s not bad, we say that New Zealand has plenty of catching up to do!! We are back at the boat show for the 7th straight year this year, so do come and see us. Each year we expand our offering. When we began, we simply sold Coppercoat, but as more and more ownders started asking us to apply it, we launched our application company. This year, after several owners had asked us to removal their old antifoul, we came full circle and launched our antifoul removal company as well. What it means is, that moving to Coppercoat has become a more cost effective solution, with the added bonus of dealing with our poor jokes for the entire project. This year I am on the hunt to work with more racing yacht owners. The attached is a photo of Tiny Dancer (moored at Bayswater). She does rather well on the racing circuit and is the current holder of the Duders Cup. So if you are currently coming third or fourth in your own races, come by the stand and tell me your story. There is some free Coppercoat on offer for one lucky winner. After all Coppercoat is just like a hard racing shell. If you want a quicker boat, be it sail or launch, with an antifoul that will last 10+ years, come and see us at the Boat Show.
