MARITIMO SEEKS KIWI RECRUITS Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer Maritimo is seeking to expand its workforce to meet unprecedented demand for its luxury boats. It is recruiting in Australia and New Zealand. Says Maritimo CEO Garth Corbitt: “With the production pipeline now stretching out to 2020, the company’s supply capacity requires ramping up to meet demand. “We have steadily increased our workforce over the year, but we are still employing in all fields within the manufacturing areas of the company.” Maritimo needs experienced and motivated people with a minimum of three years’ marine industry experience in lamination, cabinet making, fit-out, engineering, varnish and stainless fabrication. Successful applicants will be working in Maritimo’s Coomera-based manufacturing facility on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is a natural hub for the country’s marine industry.
