VHF UNTETHERED

-

Raymarine’s new Ray90 and Ray91 modular VHF radios free skippers from being tethered to their helm stations. Both VHFS have the ability to connect an optional second wired station, along with a wireless hub, which can host a further three wireless handset stations. With two wired handsets and three optional wireless handset stations, calls can be made and answered from anywhere on board. The radios have an intercom function as well. The Ray90/91’s wireless hub provides easy VHF radio capability in dual helm installations, as well as at hard-to-wire locations. Wireless handsets use the latest inductive charging technology, furnished by the dock, and a locator alarm sounds if they’re misplaced. Both VHFS have an onboard GPS receiver, provision for an external GPS antenna and can communicate with the rest of the vessel’s electronic displays and instruments via NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 networking. The Ray 91 also has a built-in Class B AIS receiver. FIND IT @ www.lusty-blundell.co.nz
