Quiz fun for daffodil appeal

- By DAVE MURDOCH

Chief organiser Glenda Graham hopes the money raised this year with the ANZ Daffodil Quiz will again break the record of last year — which was $5453.

This is the fifth quiz and it grows in popularity every year at its venue the Dannevirke Services and Citizen’s Club. There is barely space for more teams so she says get in quickly. A team of four to six costs $60 and can be registered at ANZ Bank.

Thanks to local businesses there are spot prizes to go with the winning awards.

Although not specifically requested she suggests teams dress up and the best dressed will win a prize. It all adds to the atmosphere. This year quiz night is on Wednesday August 29.
