A spring feel at the community market

- By DAVE MURDOCH

There is a definite spring feel in the air with warm sunshine enticing gardeners to give nature a bit of a hand to grow things edible and colourful.

The Dannevirke Community Market on August 25 will be the place to go for all things to help the process — plants, sculptures/ornaments and advice.

While there, consider the products made by knitters, woodworkers, glass workers, soap makers, cooks and other creative people who have hibernated indoors over the winter, “making stuff”.

Many of these products are unique and great for gifts.

The market operates from 10am-1pm, just stopping in time to get a Lions Club sausage for lunch.
