Enthusiastic players turn out for team
Under 6s were a young and energetic team this year, arriving at training and games every week with a lot of enthusiasm.
Coached by Bevan White and Lance Duffy, the kids learned some great new skills, many players in their first season of rugby. Great stuff rippas.

Under 8s were struggling to field a team at the beginning of the season. A couple of rippas moved up to play above their grade and fill the team. Jason Rankin, Simon Hull and Adrian Lochhead all stepped up to fill the coaching role. The team quickly moved from strength to strength working hard, learning to tackle well and making great runs down the field. Under 8s ended the season winning the majority of their games.

Under 10’s had a solid season of rugby with some tough competition. Many of the kids have played previous seasons together which put them in a great position, meshing well as a team. Coached by Hamish Monk and Scott Somerville, the team finished third overall in there grade. Well done team.

Under 11’s joined forces this year with the East Coast club. Our seven players heading down there and forming Eke/Coast team. Mike Higinbottom and Richard Sandall coached the team right into the semi finals. What a fantastic result for the players who worked hard all season and played very well together.

Under 13s had many kids off to college which left four boys remaining this season. Three playing for Marist and coming away with top position and taking home the Waibush under 13 shield. Thanks to Marist and coach Sam Pierce.
Sportmanship U13: Chad Duffy. Congratulations to players selected for Wairarapa reps this year: Logan Atkinson, Jack Redington, Damien Neioti, Chad Duffy and Kingston Andrews. We farewell two players from the club, Kingston Andrews and Chad Duffy. New players welcome.
